We invite you to a conversation with the deans of admissions from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the College, and the Law School. Open exclusively to University of Chicago alumni, parents, and friends, the program will explore the highly selective admissions processes and allow you to connect with others in the UChicago community.

Kurt Ahim has been with Chicago Booth since 2002 and is currently the Associate Dean of Full-Time MBA Admissions. Within his role, Kurt manages all aspects of evaluation, marketing, and operations in the Full-Time MBA Admissions office. In addition, Kurt is the Executive Director of Chicago Booth Marketing, responsible for the promotion of Booth programs and bringing the Booth brand to life.

Kurt earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University with a double major in psychology and communication studies. He later received his master’s degree in higher education administration from Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy. And most recently Kurt completed his MBA from Chicago Booth with concentrations in marketing management, strategic management, and managerial and organizational behavior.

James G. Nondorf
is the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Advancement and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at the University of Chicago. At UChicago, Jim oversees College Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Office of Career Advancement. He has also served as chair of the SAT Committee and been an adviser for the College Board. Prior to his tenure at UChicago, he served as Vice President and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Director of Student Outreach and Associate Director of Admissions at Yale University.

Jim earned a BA in economics from Yale University and an MLA in ethics from Valparaiso University.

Ann Killian Perry has been the Associate Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid at the University of Chicago Law School since August, 2002. She oversees all aspects of the admissions process including scholarship. Prior to joining the University of Chicago Law School community, Ann was the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Financial Aid at the University Of Illinois College Of Law. She also spent two years doing alumni and development work at the University of Illinois College of Law. Her volunteer work in the admissions area includes committee work for the Law School Admissions Council including membership on Services and Programs Committee, the subcommittee on Misconduct and Irregularities in the Admissions Process, the Newcomer’s Planning Committee and chairing the Annual Meeting Planning Committee in 2012. Prior to entering law school administration, she was an associate at Stellato & Schwartz in Chicago. Ann received two degrees from the University of Illinois, A.B. in Political Science in 1989 and J.D. 1993.
