Sheila Oh (AB’02, AM’05) is the Director of the Computer Science Fundamentals Certificate Program at Seattle University. She has experienced a fascinating career path that few would have anticipated when she enrolled at University of Chicago in 1998. Holding degrees in music, economics, and computer science, Sheila will discuss how she leveraged her strengths and interests to craft a career that encourages the intersections of her passions: teaching, music, and technology.
In her “spare” time, Sheila can be found in the violin section of the Seattle Philharmonic, kicking up her heels with Sister Kate Dance Company, strengthening her local community through live classical music as a board member of the Live Music Project, and supporting women in technology as a community leader of the Anita Borg Institute.
