Mind Your Career WEBINAR - The 'Why' of Executive Coaching

Cost: FREE
Registration Required

Join us for the next installment of our “Mind Your Career” webinar series, featuring Wayne Scott, AB'86, AM'89.

Executive coaching is becoming a standard practice in many private, public, and non-profit organizations. This webinar will focus on the 'why' of executive coaching, especially as it applies to mid-career and seasoned leaders:

  • How do leaders expand applied wisdom within organizations?
  • How do organizations nurture and sustain leaders who are organizationally savvy, emotionally astute, and visionary?
  • How do coaches help create capacity for systems thinking, the ability to tolerate complexity and ambiguity, and what author Marty Linsky has called "adaptive leadership"?
In addition to responding to these questions, the instructor will review core aspects of leadership growth, such as 360 assessments, developmental or "stretch" assignments, and the importance of community-building with colleagues within and outside their organizations.
